The New Old Stock (NOS) parts that we offer for sale are original production, assembly line pieces. Being assembly line pieces, there are often imperfections in the chrome and anodizing. The factory chrome from the 1930s, 1940s, and early 1950s was not up to the standards of the chrome from the 1960s and 1970s. There is no such thing as a "flawless" NOS piece, so please keep that in mind when restoring your vehicle. Unless noted otherwise in the description above, the part pictured is exactly what would have been found on the car when it was new.

We are not experts on everything we sell, but we describe our items to the best of our knowledge and research, and as accurately as possible. Being human, mistakes are sometimes made in our listings, which may require us to end an auction early. We do not end auctions early for any reason other than posting errors or inaccurately described items. Please call us with any questions about our auctions.

Tuesday through Friday - 8:30-5:00, Saturday - 8:30-3:30 Pacific Time    CLOSED: Sunday & Monday

Payment:   Payment must be received within 5 days of the end of auction. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, simply send me a note to let me know. I am more than willing to work with my customers as long as they work with me. However, I have little patience with endless promises and ignored emails. Payment can be made via PayPal online, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover is accepted over the phone.

We are closed Sundays and Mondays, and our shipping days are Tuesday-Friday. If you purchase one of our items and pay for it after 12:00 noon on Friday, then it will ship on the following Tuesday.

Shipping:   Unless otherwise noted, we ship our items via UPS in the Continental U.S. We are very familiar with their rules and regulations, so please look over their regulations, especially in regard to their new Dimensional Weight rule, before questioning our shipping prices. We package our items with the safety of the item in mind, not to save a few dollars in shipping costs. For locations outside the Continental U.S., we usually ship by U.S. Mail unless otherwise requested.

Dimensional Weight:   UPS uses either actual weight of the package or weight based on dimensions to determine their shipping charges. Many items, such as dash pads, weigh very little but have to be shipped in large boxes that fall into the dimensional weight category. For a more detailed explanation of Dimensional Weight, please see the UPS website.

Returns:   Returns will only be accepted if there is obvious and legitimate damage that was overlooked in our description, or if the item was damaged in shipping. No returns on electrical items. No returns will be accepted because of buyers remorse, or because of unrealistic expectations of the parts purchased. All returns are subject to the seller's discretion, and restocking fees will apply if we find the return was not warranted. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

One Lap of the Web: BMW M4 coupe, 'Fast & Furious 7' and soap box racing

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- We all know the new BMW M3 coupe – ahem, M4 coupe -- is on the horizon for the German brand, but we can only speculate about the new performance car.

Ferrari California (2008): first official pictures

Thu, 29 May 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 29 May 2008 08:30 This is the Ferrari California – the new 2+2 GT unveiled today. There’s a seven-speed twin-clutch transmission, a 454bhp 4.3-litre V8 with direct injection, a folding metal roof and space for four. Right, concrete numbers on the Ferrari California please… The engine is a 4300cc V8, using the existing block from the F430 but with a new head to accommodate direct injection. It’s the first time Ferrari has used DI and helps the California produce 454bhp at a heady 7500rpm.
