1965 Chevy Led Tail Lights (2) Inc. New Bezels on 2040-parts.com
Aurora, Colorado, US
Led Tail Lights (2) Here is a your chance to update your tail lights with the new led technology. It just couldn't get any easier! Remove your two bezel nuts and unplug the bulb socket, plug the led into your old socket and slip this assembly in. Re-install the two bezel nuts. Nice new die cast metal bezels, neoprene gaskets, heavy duty zinc plated backer and a new bulb socket if needed. These tail lights have 40 super bright red led's. They use epoxy coated, fully sealed electronics on solid state circuit boards. All the led's light up for tail lights and all get brighter for stop/turn. These appear stock until you look close. The led's are instant on and off. Almost unnatural! They are so fast NHRA had to re-calculate the Christmas Tree when they converted. Low current so they run cool. Tremendous life span. They measure about 5 3/4" tall by 4 1/2" wide. The listing is for a pair. We do stock the led flasher you will need. Lots of neat stuff in the Classic Car Goodies Store (currently over 1,000 items!). MINI Paceman: Official
Fri, 14 Sep 2012The production version of the MINI Paceman – the Countryman Coupe – has been revealed ahead of the Paris Motor Show. The MINI Paceman arrived at the Detroit Motor Show in 2011 as a concept, but it was clear, even then, that MINI wouldn’t be able to resist building the Countryman Coupe as a cheaper alternative to the Range Rover Evoque. So now we have the production version of the Paceman revealed ahead of its public debut at Paris 2012, looking exactly like the Paceman Concept.
Concept Car of the Week: Ford Mustang I (1962)
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Influenced by science fiction and Space exploration in the early sixties, Ford Motor Corporation developed a series of research vehicles to test innovative layouts, experimental technologies and futuristic styling on such radical concepts as the X2000, Levacar Mach 1 and the Gyron that still captivate the imagination. In parallel, Ford's advanced styling studio was also working on a more rational project that could influence production models to compete with GM Corvair Monza. Stylists and engineers came up with a high-performance 2-seater vehicle with the engine placed in front of the rear axle for better aerodynamics and improved weight distribution.
Bungling thief caught after stealing hire car's steering wheel
Thu, 27 Mar 2014A DIM-WITTED criminal has been convicted of theft after stealing parts of a brand new Audi A3 hire car and replacing them with old bits taken from his much older Audi S3. Alexander Keating, a 23-year-old former bodyshop technician who lost his job following the conviction, stole parts as obvious as the steering wheel and gear knob from the A3 that his mum had hired after damaging her car in an accident. Keating foolishly believed no one would notice the battered old steering wheel on the otherwise shiny, new car, but sure enough the mismatched parts were spotted and the hapless bungler was caught by the car hire firm’s bespoke anti-fraud team Asset Protection Unit (APU).
