At auction is a matching set of 1965 COMET TAILLIGHT HOUSINGS. I found these while at a liquidation sale at a small town FORD dealership. They are in good shape for their age. Interestingly, the left housing shows some damage (see pics). I say interestingly because it is usually the right hand rear that sustains damage while backing. The damage would not be noticeable when the units are installed. one area of damage would be behind the red lens and the other on the bottom of the unit.  The right hand unit is fine but does have a bit of pitting. The real plus are the INTACT mounting pins! These are perfect! Also, the light housing to body gaskets are intact on both units and are VERY pliable! These are expensive on the after market and are nowhere near the quality of the original.

I will ship these via UPS GROUND. They are located at ZIP CODE 59701 so you can estimate shipping to your location. Bid with confidence on these rarely seen items!

Italy auctions government cars

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

OFFERS started rolling in on unneeded government Alfa Romeo, Lancia and BMW cars, which prime minister Matteo Renzi is auctioning off on eBay as a sign of his seriousness in tackling government waste. Renzi has pledged to sell 151 vehicles by April 16, saying he was taking a cue from the former mayor of Florence - himself - who auctioned off four cars early in his term. Besides cashing in, the government will save on upkeep, maintenance and running costs.
