Used pair of fender braces/support brackets off of a 1965 Ford Falcon.  Support the bottom front portion of the fender to the core support area.  Will need a thorough cleaning and some paint, and after that they will still be pitted but useable.  Be sure to enlarge all Photos!

Citroen DS3 at Frankfurt

  Citroen will be bringing the new DS3 to Frankfurt The DS3 – a MINI competitor – is the first model in Citroen’s DS range, designed to be an upmarket range of cars based on their more prosaic ‘C’ siblings. We can expect to see the Citroen DS4 in 2011 and the bigger Citroen DS5 in 2012. The DS3 is based on the new Citroen C3 – which will itself only be launched in November – and is slightly larger all round than the MINI.

Italdesign Giugiaro debuts electric Clipper MPV

The Volkswagen T-ROC wasn't the only Geneva Motor Show concept unveiled this week that uses the Golf platform, Italdesign Giugiaro unveiled an MPV concept that managed to turn quite a few heads. Italdesign is owned by Volkswagen, so this design and engineering exercise seemed like a no-brainer, allowing the company to show off an extra concept car in an entirely different wrapper. The Clipper an all-wheel drive six-seat MPV sitting on the MQB platform, which Volkswagen is keen to expand beyond the Golf and the next-generation Scirocco, and it features two electric motors producing 149-hp each, one for each axle.

Mitsubishi closes California design studio

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. closed its design studio in Cypress, CA last Thursday – just one month shy of its 25th anniversary. A result of the recent downturn in the global economy, the closure of the facility will eliminate 33 design positions as part of a personnel cull that has seen 60 people within the automaker's US operations lose their jobs.
