Good used set of V8 motor mounts off of a 1965 Ford Falcon. Brackets and bolts are in good shape, even the rubber mounts aren't too bad, although with anything rubber and 50 years old, they should probably be replaced, but I will leave that up to the purchaser to determine. Sat, 10 Apr 2010The Fiat 500C by Diesel Fiat has been trying hard to churn out as many limited edition versions of the 500 as MINI have managed on their own re-created motoring icon. That’s probably an impossible target (we reckoned that MINI managed a new model a month last year) but that’s not going to stop Fiat having a good old bash at milking the ‘Limited Edition’ market. One of the earliest limited edition specials from the Fiat 500 was the ‘Style’ makeover from designers Diesel.

Mon, 18 Oct 2010Saab 9-4X Revealed It’s nice to see that Saab are getting back to being a maker of cars rather than a pawn of GM, and the reveal this afternoon of the Saab 9-4X marks the second new model in 2010 for Saab, even though both the Saab 9-5 and the Saab 9-4X have been on the horizon for what seems like forever. And, of course, after years (buried) under the GM umbrella Saab’s products are going to be GM based, at least for now. So what we have with the Saab 904X is a Saab-ised Cadillac SRX, but that’s not too bad a thing.
Vintage vehicles shine at annual Lime Rock Park fall festival
Wed, 13 Oct 2010Mark your 2011 calendar for this event, right now. Vintage racing in the Northeast was virtually invented at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. The sport was established by the Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA), founded in 1958, and remained “clubby” for nearly two generations, as anyone who ever saw Fred Willits drive his Bugatti GP car through the Lime Rock pits with his blue blazer buttoned over his driving suit will remember.
