This is a pair of original GM cylinder heads for a Big Block Chevy Engine. The casting number on each head is 3856206. These heads have large oval intake ports and closed combustion chambers. These heads were used by GM on 1965 396/325HP engines only. The big block was released mid year in 1965 which makes these heads very rare and hard to find. The date codes are G 13 5 and G 17 5 as shown.  These heads have a 97CC combustion chamber which is the smallest of any big block Chevy head ever produced. These heads are highly sought after for raising the compression of lower compression engines. Don't miss this nice set.

These heads are in very good original condition as shown. There are no breaks or repairs. The heads have just been shot blasted and are free of rust, pitting, etc. The ports  have some deburring and the bowls have some work done, a nice bonus. The heads also have a very thick deck surface as indicated by the picture of the dimes on the deck indicators. The combustion chambers have never been modified. Finding a closed chamber oval port 1965 heads without corrosion or damage is very hard to do without making a deal with the devil. Don't miss this nice pair.

This is your chance to own awesome factory 1965 Big Block Chevy heads you have been dreaming about for your special engine or collection at a great price. Don't Miss Out!

The move marks the close of arguably the most high-profile transatlantic merger and shuts the door on Canadian car assembly giant Magna and billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, who last month offered £2.27billion for Chrysler.

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

The Honda Gear Concept has been revealed at the Montreal Motor Show this week, a small urban runaround aimed at young car buyers. Just to the north of the Detroit Show, there’s another motor show going on in Montreal, not that anyone expected anything of much interest to appear at the much smaller Montreal Motor Show. But it has.

Volvo Concept Coupe (2013) at Frankfurt motor show

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The Swedes have done emotional coupes before – like the C70 and the legendary P1800 – but the Volvo Concept Coupe is the first from its new designer, Thomas Ingenlath. Recruited from VW, Ingenlath says that the concept, which is underpinned by the new SPA platform (which stands for Scalable Platform Architecture) that will be used on the 2014 XC90, is both a nod to the past and a signal of intent for the future. You’ll be able to see it at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
