A 1961 E-Type, one of the earliest ever made and confirmed as chassis number 40, was discovered just a few weeks ago in a garage near Le Mans by Coys auction house, which will also complete the sale. The car hasn’t moved since it was left in the garage in 1974, although Coys claims the engine was last started five years ago and it still turns over freely.
