This is a new 1965 Convertible Pony rear seat upholstery produced by Distinctive Industries, a quality leader in Classic Mustang Upholstery.  The rear seat upholstery you are considering purchasing has never been installed in a car.   Rear seat top and bottom upholstery are included. Rear seat upholstery does not come with the seat foam of any kind. The red upholstery in 1965 was a bright red color and not a dark red like in 1966. This upholstery is a color match for the original 1965 Mustang red.

You will receive the rear top and bottom covers. PLEASE NOTE IN THE PICTURES THAT THE FOAM ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE UPHOLSTERY IS DISCOLORED IN AN AREA. THE RED TOP SIDE THAT IS VISIBLE WHEN INSTALLED IS IN NEW CONDITION AND COLOR CORRECT FOR 1965 MUSTANG RED.

Red Pony upholstery is very popular today for 1965 Mustangs and was originally offered by Ford Motor Company during that model year.

If your 1965 convertible's Pony interior is being restored and you need red rear seat upholstery you might want to consider this kit.
