1965 Pontiac Trunk Lid - Full Size Car on 2040-parts.com

This is a trunk lid from a 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix. Should fit all full size 1965-66 Pontiacs with exception of Bonneville which was longer. Includes lower edge chrome moulding, Pontiac medallion and "GP" emblem. There is rust under the inner edges as shown in the photos. Outside skin does not appear to have any severe rust or holes. This part has been in indoor storage for over 25 years. Contact me with any questions. Heavy, bulky part, local pickup.

Pininfarina Hyperion

Called the Hyperion, one of the Titans of Greek mythology, the car was created for collector Robert Hall by the coachbuilder's Special Projects Division. It was inspired by the proportions of cars from the 1930s.

GM claims 23-mpg average in E-ROD 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air
Thu, 23 Jun 2011First introduced in 2009, the GM Performance Parts (GMPP) E-ROD program was born with the mission of creating fuel-efficient, emissions-compliant engine packages for hot-rodders. Now the program is back in the news as GMPP claims that an E-ROD-powered 1955 Bel Air returned 23 mpg on a trip from Michigan to Florida while producing emissions comparable to those of a new Camaro SS. All of that green doesn't come inexpensive--or easy.
