1975 JC Whitney catalog: A bonanza of aftermarket Volkswagen goodies

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Back before there was the Internet, or even big car-parts chain stores, there was the JC Whitney catalog. Printed on cheap, pulpy paper and featuring tens of thousands of tiny, hand-drawn illustrations, these thick books gave me many hours of enjoyment in the early 1980s, as I fantasized about how I'd modify my incredibly sketchy and hooptified '58 Beetle. Suzuki S-Cross production version at Geneva 2013

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

The Suzuki S-Cross – which arrived at the 2012 Paris Motor Show as a Concept – will arrive in production guise at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The Paris Motor Show last year saw Suzuki roll out a concept for a new C-segment crossover – the Suzuki S-Cross Concept – which was clearly close to production ready. So it’s no surprise that the production version of the Suzuki S-Cross is arriving at the Geneva Motor Show next month – before heading for a Suzuki dealer near you by the end of 2013 – looking very faithful to the S-Cross Concept design.

Infiniti G37 Coupe

Thu, 22 Mar 2007

The New York Auto show, rapidly gaining respect from automotive manufacturers around the world, will be the stage for the release of the all-new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, the second generation of the G-series coupe. The overall styling of the G37 faithfully follows Infiniti's 'Vibrant Expression' design identity, shown first by the G sedan. It combines strong, robust lines with flowing, rich surface volumes which resembles a well-built, muscular athlete.
