This new set of 4 reproduction DARK GREEN seat belts are as close to the original 1960's Classic  style DARK GREEN color seat belts as we could find. Mounting hardware is included. The seat belt manufacturer named the color  Dark Green with no other descriptive phrase. The color would look good in any 1960's  classic car or any car or year that has dark green in its interior. They are a push button design with an authentic star burst emblem to push on to release the belt.  The star burst label on the push button is right on for a deluxe 1966 or 1967 Ford seat belt. 1968 and 1969 Mustangs also had star burst emblems on their buckles. If you have checked into restored original Classic seat belts then you know you can easily spend $400 to $500 for a fully restored set of 2. These new seat belts can be purchased for a fraction of that cost and they look great. There are plenty of places to invest money into your Classic Car. Save $300 to $400 on seat belts and invest the savings into other parts you may need.

Please consider K.A.R. Auto Group for all your Classic Mustang needs. We stock over 9000 high quality parts and accessories and offer the industry's best tech support to our parts customers.

Lexus IS (2013) more details of new 3-series rival

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

Lexus has pulled the cloth back on the all-new Lexus IS at the 2013 Detroit motor show, and announced more details of its new hybrid 3-series rival. This will be the first hybrid Lexus IS, and UK sales will start in summer 2013.  What do we know about the new hybrid Lexus IS?  The IS300h combines an electric motor with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The torque output is yet to be confirmed, but there's 217bhp and Lexus is aiming for a sub-100g/km CO2 output and fuel consumption of at least 65mpg. Figures like that are likely to grab the attention of fleet managers, as Lexus hopes to close the gap on rivals like the BMW 3-series, Mercedes C-class and Audi A4.  There's a non-hybrid model too, but this IS250 will be powered by a 204bhp 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine. It won't be a fleet favourite.  The IS250h has a six-speed automatic transmission, the IS300h has a CVT gearbox, and both cars are rear-wheel drive.

Hyundai PassoCorto coming to Geneva

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

Hot on the tailpipes of the Kia GT4 Stinger's debut in Detroit comes word of an even racier-looking two-seater from parent company Hyundai – the PassoCorto. Built by and for Gen Y car enthusiasts, the PassoCorto was styled by 16 students in the Master's program of transportation design at the Istituto Europeo Design (IED) in Turin. The students were tasked by Hyundai Design Center Europe with making “…the car that would be on top of their list for buying and driving.” We don't know any Gen Ys who could fork over close to $60,000 for a car, the cost of the similarly-sized Alfa 4C, but we know plenty who would like to have one.
