Electric Fiat 500e costs the same as 500 Pop – in the US

Sat, 13 Apr 2013

Sergio Marchionne reckoned Fiat would lose £7k on every 500e they sell, but that may be a very conservative estimate judging by the deal Fiat has put together for the 500e in California, where it’s just launched. For a very modest down-payment of £650 and then £130 a month, you can drive off in a brand new Fiat 500e. Volkswagen Golf GTD Mk 7 revealed

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The 2013 VW Golf GTD has been revealed ahead of a Geneva Motor Show debut with 181bhp, 67.3mpg and 109g/km emissions. The new VW Golf GTD get VW’s new 2.0 litre 4-cylinder diesel which offers an impressive 181bhp and a very decent 280lb/ft of torque, enough to get to 62mph in 7.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 143mph. The extra power (up 13bhp and 22lb/ft of torque) may mean better performance than the Mk 6 GTD, but it’s not at the price of poorer economy.

The 2012 Mercedes SLK - the tease begins I know, it’s what all car maker now do; tease the launch of a new car. And we’re probably to be blame. No, not Cars UK specifically, but online Car Magazines in general.
