Up for Auction here is a Used, RARE Original GM 1967 Pontiac Acadian Instrument Panel / Gauge Cluster. It is used, but in overall Nice Condition. with some typical dirt/dust/scratches/blemishes associated with a 46 year old used Auto Part. Lots of photos to show actual condition, and can take more if needed, just ask. Same with questions, please ask. It has the Acadian "A" in the Maple Leaf for the Clock Delete, correct for the Rare Pontiac Acadian Model...The Black bezel and Clear lens are included as shown in photos, and are in good condition, lens has no deep scratches or scrapes, etc. Some of the chrome ? or paint outline edging on the black outer edge of bezel is worn off, but easily touched up (they actually make a paint marker for this now, I've seen them here on ebay). Odometer mileage shows 98812.5 miles, easy to turn ahead to 000000 for your fresh restoration...The Orange needles are nice and vibrant, not faded... Removed from a 67 Acadian Invader, but MAY BE CORRECT FOR 66 Acadian, Canso, SD, Sport Deluxe, as well as 66-67 Chevy II & Nova,(change out the clock delete plate for chevy) as well as possibly earlier years, however I am unsure, so please research your application before bidding. Nissan GT-R Nismo confirmed as Nissan opens new Nismo HQ
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Nissan has opened a new Nismo HQ in Yokohama and confirmed that there will be a Nissan GT-R Nismo flagship performance car built. So far, we’ve had the Nissan Juke Nismo arrive and the Nissan 370Z Nismo turned up recently too as a production model for the UK and Europe – and we’ve even had a concept of a LEAF Nismo – so we know Nissan are serious about offering Nismo versions even on their least sporty models. But the one car that really doesn’t need a Nismo version is the GT-R, yet to have a range of performance cars under the Nismo banner without having the mighty GT-R at the top of that range would seem odd.
New Jaguar XJR UK debut next week
Fri, 07 Jun 2013The New Jaguar XJR (pictured) gets its UK debut at Moto Expo 2013 Lovers of powerful XJs were delighted discover that a new Jaguar XJR, which debuted at the New York Auto Show in April, will finally give them a properly sporty XJ, rather than the somewhat compromised SuperSport version of the current XJ with the 5.0 litre Supercharged engine. Jaguar has kept faith with the history of the XJR by giving the new model a subtle ‘Sporty’ makeover with only gentle go-faster bits – like ‘R’ badges, new alloys, quad tailpipes, small boot spoiler, front splitter and a subtle body kit – so the new XJR looks purposeful, rather than looking like its been dipped in a Halfords bargain bucket. The real changes come under the skin, with the new XJR getting the 542bhp version of the 5.0 litre supercharged engine, tweaked dampers and spring rates, refined active diff and DSC and new shift patterns for the 8-speed auto box.
