I have been building cars from our family garage since 1992, starting with 1966, 67 GTO/Lemans/Tempest, and 1st generation firebirds. We mostly have 65, 66 big Pontiac parts; Some 66, 67 GTO/Lemans parts, and a lot of 65-70 motor parts. I am proud to say we have had over 80 cars since 1976! We are starting to reduce our inventory of "hard to find" restoration parts for 65 and 66 big Pontiac's, and 66, 67 GTO parts. We are selling off the stash as fast as we can get them boxed for safe shipping! Since our inventory has grown so large, the easiest way to sort through our items would be to go to our store and use the search bar in the top left corner. For Example type in the part name/year “GTO” (for a wider search), “66 Bonneville Fender” etc. we mostly handle 65-67 GTO/Grand Prix/Bonneville parts, so we might make errors in some of our ads. Hyundai heading for more dual clutch gearboxes instead of CVT
Wed, 31 Oct 2012Hyundai are planning to offer more dual clutch gearboxes in their cars rather than going the CVT route. There’s an argument that somehow CVT gearboxes offer better fuel economy than an automated dual clutch ‘box, even though logic says otherwise. Toyota insist on using a CVT ‘box on their hybrid cars when they’d feel much better to drive with an auto or dual clutch ‘box.
Nissan UK Battery plans confirmed
Mon, 20 Jul 2009Nissan - the Renault Nissan Alliance - has confirmed plans for car battery production in the UK and Portugal The aim of the battery production plants is to supply batteries for electric cars built by the Renault Nissan alliance, but Nissan haven’t actually said that they will build any electric cars in the UK. Hmm. The target production is 60,000 annually to be used in a range of Nissan and Renault electric cars that will start to hit the market next year (2010) – in the US and Japan – with full global roll-out by 2010.
