1966 Pontiac GTO factory original AM-FM radio.

Will also fit 1967 GTO / LeMans.

I bought this factory AM-FM about 23 years ago. We tested it in my buddy's GTO at that time, and the radio worked. I ended up selling my GTO, but never did install, or use this radio. I forgot about it all these years, and just found it.  It was stored in a box of misc. GTO parts, in a cabinet in our garage. I have no way to test it now So for this auction, assume this radio is a original used factory AM-FM that may or will, need servicing.

According to the knobs on this AM-FM radio, it appears to be a 1966 GTO AM-FM radio, although I think the 1967 AM-FM radio is the same.  The P/N paper tag is long gone, and the small dial lamp on the top of the radio is gone.

The radio looks to be in good condition. The volume & station tuners turn well.

The AM FM slider bar slides smoothly. The dial needle goes across the face nicely.

The push buttons all work very smoothly, no issues.

The front chrome face and the push buttons all still have good chrome.

The dial face still looks very good.

One of the cooling fins on the back has a bent corner.

As you know, these 1966-67 factory AM-FM radios are getting very rare.

There is a service sticker on the radio dated 1985.

Overall, the radio is clean, no obvious rust or corrosion issues that I can see on the outside.

Overall, this AM-FM seems in good original used condition, but is sold without any warranty.

Please add $19.80 for boxed, cushioned, UPS shipping in the 48 states.

Please email with any questions.

Thanks.

Suzuki sedan heads for December introduction in the United States

Thu, 02 Apr 2009

It's been awhile since we've shown you some spy art of Suzuki's upcoming sport sedan foreshadowed by the Kizashi concepts. But we got a fresh look at the car on Thursday--with the "spy" art helpfully provided by Suzuki. It was attached to a "save the date" e-mail to members of the North American Car and Truck of the Year jury.
