I am listing a Genuine GM OEM speaker switch for a 1966/1967 Pontiac GTO, Lemans, Tempest, Grand Prix, Bonneville, Catalina, Firebird & 2+2 non reverb equipped car.  It does not include any original packaging, but is in great original condition with light age/shelf wear and was part of a large Pontiac lot I bought for a 1967 GTO I was restoring.  After getting the car PHS documented, I discovered it came equipped with reverb. I have since acquired an NOS reverb setup for my 67; thus, I no longer have any use for this one.  It is all original and in perfect working order.  The chrome is in nice shape and has very light pitting.  This piece is correct for a 1966 and 1967 GTO, but will work in a 66/67 Lemans, Tempest Grand Prix, Bonneville, Firebird, Catalina & 2+2 as well. I do not believe it will work with a later year GTO and am uncertain about any other applications, so please do your own research.

No returns please.

Thanks for looking.

Renaultsport Megane (2011) Nurburgring teaser video

Mon, 06 Jun 2011

Renaultsport have released a teaser video, showing its development team preparing a new Renaultsport Megane for track-testing at the Nurburgring. Under the title 'Save the date: June 17', the video shows a previous-generation Renaultsport Megane R26.R in addition to the track-focused, luridly-painted current Megane. Renaultsport is believed to be preparing a harder-edged, more powerful RS Megane, to sit above the current RS250 Cup model. The current car is no slouch, winning general acclaim from CAR when it was included in our PCOTY 2011 convoy through France. But it looks like the fast Renault wizards from Dieppe have decided to send their latest car to the Nurburgring in order to attract the attention of the trackday brigade.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association is adding four names to its hall of fame: Gray Baskerville, Art Chrisman, Chris Economaki and John Towle. The SEMA Hall of Fame recognizes those who have especially helped foster the growth of the special-equipment automotive industry. -- Baskerville was senior editor of Hot Rod magazine for 30 years, though his writing is what really secured his ticket to the hall.
