1966-1968 Buick Special Skylark GS NOS courtesy lamp kit 980702

Product Description

NOS genuine GM Buick Factory Accessory courtesy lamp installation kit, part number 980702.

This was first introduced for 1966 Buick Special (Series 3000), but not convertible. I assume this kit was issued to upgrade the lowly 3000 Series with and "option" that came standard on Skylarks and other models, so you could use these to replace what came from the factory.

For some reason, all the Buick parts books skip 1967 models in listings for this part number, and go straight to 1968, where it is listed for both Special and LeSabre. Again, most likely an upgrade to what was standard elsewhere.

Also, these most likely are very similar, if not identical to lights used in other GM cars - Chevrolet Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Oldsmobile F85, Cutlass and 442, Pontiac Tempest, LeMans, and GTO. Even if they're not identical, I'm sure they will fit and work correctly.

Shipping - Payment

A few words to make things easier.

1. Combined shipping for multiple auctions is always available, but when the auction is over, you will have to wait until I revise things in my eBay "paperwork" to create just one invoice for all your purchased auctions.  And I have to do the revising BEFORE you pay.  If auctions are paid separately (i.e. before you receive my invoice combining items), eBay will no longer then let me combine them on one invoice.  AND, eBay then automatically charges you separate shipping charges for each item, which is not refunded.  Again, this is eBay's set-up.  Combining auctions benefits you by saving you shipping and handling fees.

2. Payment is expected within 3 days.  After 8 days, I will file with eBay to have my auction fees refunded.  If there is a problem with 3 days, please let me know, as I am not unreasonable, and I know that things happen.  Just be aware that having been on eBay full-time for several years has already afforded me an opportunity to hear a lot of "creative" stories.

Thanks for your bid.

Ferrari 600 GTB leaked?

Mon, 03 Aug 2009

Ferrari posted a 'Coming Soon' link on their site for the Ferrari 600GTB today! But it looks like all the interest in the 458 might just have got Ferrari a little flustered. Their web bods have updated the Ferrari website to show the information we brought you last week, but in the process they put up a nice little box which said ‘Coming soon – Ferrari 600 GTB‘.

Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max 2015 FACELIFT revealed – debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

Ford C-Max & Grand C-Max 2015 FACELIFT revealed Ford has been busy grafting their new grill on to cars across their range recently, and the latest models to get the ‘Gaydon Grill’ (and other tweaks) are the C-Max and Grand C-Max – Ford’s 5 and 7 seat MPVs based on the Focus – revealed today ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. As you’e expect, the changes amount to pretty much what we’ve seen with the Ford Focus facelift, so there’s a new grill to make the Ford statement accompanied by new headlights and bonnet. Round the back the tailgate has been given a slicker, simplified makeover, there’s a new bumper and smaller lights.

Jaguar Land Rover RECORD sales in 2013

Sun, 12 Jan 2014

Jaguar Land Rover RECORD sales in 2013 Jaguar Land Rover has been on a roll for the last few years, so it’s no surprise they’re reporting record-breaking sales for 2013. But the sales figures are, by any measure, impressive with a total of 425,006 cars sold between Jaguar and Land Rover in 2013 – an all time record and up 19 per cent on 2012. Sales success wasn’t concentrated in just one market either, with sales up inĀ Asia Pacific and the China region by 30 per cent, North America up 21 per cent, the UK up 14 per cent, Europe up 6 per cent, and other overseas markets up 23 per cent.
