This is an NOS choke thermostat kit in the original Ford box, Ford part # D1AZ 9848-A. This kit is complete with the cover which has "MOTORCRAFT" and "TB3" on the cover as well as "LEAN" raised in the plastic. The choke cover includes the original bimetal spring on the inside as well as the factory gasket. 2010 Lincoln MKZ gets more power, noise insulation
Wed, 18 Mar 2009For 2010, Lincoln hopes to lure more entry midsize-luxury shoppers to its fold with increased optional content and improved performance in the revised MKZ. The 3.5-liter V6 is unchanged with its 263 hp, but the six-speed automatic transmission with manually selectable gears is new. Thanks to lower early gears, the '10 MKZ slashes its 0-to-60-mph time from 7.7 seconds to 7.1 seconds over the outgoing model.
Car spending 'more than holidays'
Fri, 11 Apr 2014NEARLY HALF of drivers in the UK spend more disposable income on their car than anything else, according to a survey. Spending on cars (47%) easily outweighs the amount spent on holidays (21%) and socialising with friends (13%), the poll from Halfords Autocentres showed. But the survey also found that 10% of drivers were cutting back on car maintenance to save money.
Spy Shots: Could this be the 2014 Porsche GT3 RS?
Tue, 22 May 2012Brenda Priddy & Co. sent us the above photos in an e-mail with the subject line “BREAKING: 2014 911 GT3 UNCAMOUFLAGED!” So, we opened it and found a few shots of Porsche's new rear-engine, mini Panamera in “all black everything” but sporting very little camouflage. If this is indeed the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, the bodywork is either quite a bit more restrained than that of the outgoing 997.5 GT3 RS, or it's wearing bodywork that won't appear on the 2014 GT3 RS when it debuts at the Paris motor show in September.
