Up for auction is one 1966 Buick Special Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 13 (thirteen) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1972, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1966 Buick Special vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. The manual includes information for sheet metal, trim, steering, suspension, AC, cooling, exhaust, and other body mechanical parts. This is an original Mitchell service manual, not a reprint. This manual is used, but is in good used condition. There are scuffs, dirt marks, dog eared pages, normal wear from use, and some writing on the first page that can be seen in the photo.... but the manual is in overall good condition.

Watch Tesla Model S testing new titanium armor

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

In a missive signed by Elon Musk himself, Tesla announced it would be adding titanium plates and aluminum deflectors to all new Model S sedans and offering free retrofits for the 20,000 or so existing EVs. The company earlier offered an over-the-air software update to raise the ground clearance of the Model S so the car would be more likely to clear dangerous road debris. The actions were in response to well-publicized fires in the electric luxury sedans.
