1967 RAMBLER DOG DISH HUBCAPS

HERE'S SOMETHING THAT IS HARD TO FIND YET REASONABLY PRICED. THESE RAMBLER CAPS ARE BECOMING A RARITY AND REALLY COOL TO DISPLAY IN THE TRUNK IF YOU ARE RUNNING CUSTOM WHEELS.   KIND OF FUNNY HOW WE USED TO FIND THESE CAPS ONCE IN A WHILE AND NOW WE NEVER DO. THERE ARE 2 CAPS LISTED HERE.

ON TO THE DESCRIPTION.  BOTH OF THESE CAPS HAVE A COUPLE OF LITTLE DINGS, BB SIZE TO THUMBPRINT.   PROBABLY REPAIRABLE OTHERS MAYBE NOT.  ONE CAP IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER IN THE WAY OF DINGS AS ONE OF THE LITTLE DINGS IS A SCRATCH DING.  HOWEVER, THEY ARE BOTH REALLY BRIGHT AND PRETTY GOOD LOOKING UNLESS YOU ARE STANDING ON TOP OF THEM.  ANYWAY, IF YOU KNOW THESE CARS YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THESE CAPS IN ANY CONDITION.  I RATE ONE OF THESE A 4 MINUS  AND THE OTHER A 3 +, ON A SCALE OF 1-5 WITH 5 AS THE HIGH, BASED ON AGE RARITY & CONDITION. A GREAT DEAL. ABOUT 10 " IN DIAMETER.

ONE OTHER COMMENT, WE SPENT A SEVERAL WEEKENDS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST SWAP MEETS IN THE MIDWEST OVER THE LAST YEAR.  HUNDREDS OF VENDORS, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND NONE OF THESE!  TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT THESE.

I try to be honest about what I sell.  Almost all of these old hubcaps have imperfections.  Unless you are willing to spend hundreds for a set the best you can do are look for those in decent shape which these are.

WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD!

These old car parts are becoming more and more scarce.  After 7 years of selling over a 2000 items we've come to this conclusion.   If we can't sell the parts for a reasonable price, we're going to warehouse them. This is especially true of the nice parts and more unusual parts.  All they can do is go up in value.  Our point is this.  We've got the space and the means to collect and store what we sell.  Having said that don't be surprised if we run an item only once or twice and if it doesn't sell it doesn't show back up.  Please don't misunderstand us.  We want and do appreciate your business.  It just doesn't make sense to us to spend time and money relisting items over and over when almost all of these parts have only one way to go in the future.  UP.

PLEASE NOTE:  DUE TO SEVERAL NON-PAYERS WE HAVE ADDED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT MEANT FOR THOSE TYPE OF BIDDERS.  WHILE THE VAST MAJORITY OF BUYERS PAY FOR WHAT THEY BID ON, WE HAVE RECENTLY SEEN A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN UNPAID ITEMS.  SO>>>IF YOU PLAN ON BIDDING PLEASE PLAN ON PAYING.   THANKS.  HAPPY BIDDING.

Honda CR-V concept

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

This is the first image of the Honda CR-V concept, a vehicle that previews the fourth generation CR-V expected to be revealed at the LA auto show in November. The new CR-V's thinly veiled concept precursor highlights a new front face, sculpted bodysides and kick-up DLO shape that will appear on the production car. Inside, Honda claims the new CR-V will offer an ‘accommodating and spacious interior' with a ‘host of new possibilities'.

Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster – in the wild

Sun, 31 May 2009

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster at a motor event in the US We first got details on the new Lamborghini LP650-4 Roadster back in February, and Lamborghini subsequently issued a set of pictures to show it was real. But it was a bit of a surprise to see a real one turn up at a Lamborghini event in the US. Sporting the same 650bhp as the Lamborghini Reventon, the LP650-4 Roadster is the last of the line of open-topped Murcielagos (apart from the Reventon Roadster – which as there will only be 9 doesn’t really count), and is the successor to the LP640 Roadster.

Maserati GranCabrio Fendi; half Maserati, half handbag

Tue, 23 Aug 2011

Maserati GranCabrio Fendi - a handbag on wheels Car maker like to hang a label on a special edition, and Italian car makers quite like the label to be ‘Designer’. Which at least explains the Maserati GranCabrio Fendi, just as it did the Fiat 500 Gucci. Whether it forgives it… So brace yourself for the world of pretension and ‘style’.
