Porsche Panamera S E-hybrid scores £5k government grant

But, thanks the Panamera S E-hybrid cracking the eco numbers, that’s exactly what the UK government is offering. The Panamera S E-hybrid has joined a list of just 15 cars eligible for Britian’s ‘ULEV’ (ultra low-emission vehicle) status, approved by OLEV (the Office for low-emission vehicles.) Yes, in real life, it’s ridiculous, but on paper, the S E-hybrid is a wunderkid of low-emission motoring.

VW announces seven-passenger CUV at Detroit auto show

Built on VW's new MQB modular architecture, the CrossBlue was designed to both showcase the versatility of MQB (it also underpins the upcoming Golf, the new Audi A3, as well as SEAT and Skoda models) and illustrate that VW was serious about the seven-passenger market in the United States. Citröen Metropolis concept car (2010) first pictures

The press statement says the Metropolis concept ‘pays homage to China’s extraordinary development’ but just how this Citröen forces millions of people to live in poverty with no access to an uncensored media isn’t yet clear.A massive 5.3m long (longer than a stretched 7-series) but only 1.4m high, the four-door coupe’s styling has echoes of Citröen’s incredible GT supercar concept of 2008 and was developed by Citröen’s Shanghai-based design team.
