“Appears to be NOS (New Old Stock) and still in good condition overall considering its age. Set of 6 pistons. Box marked V-6 with part number 992790 written on this old box. This was found in an old aftermarket Jeep parts warehouse. Pistons are marked “Alcoa”, “020”, “K”, “245X, “F A”.You get all 6 pistons as shown. Some appear to have more dirt and marks then the others.Needs a good cleaning. Stored for many years. Exact age unknown.Part number indicates that these pistons could be used in the 1966-1971 Jeep CJ5, CJ6, Jeepster models with the 225ci V6 engine. Set of 6 pistons. Box marked V-6 with part number 992790 written on this old box. This was found in an old aftermarket Jeep parts warehouse.  

Pistons are marked “Alcoa”, “020”, “K”, “245X, “F  A”.

You get all 6 pistons as shown. 

Some appear to have more dirt and marks then the others.

Needs a good cleaning.  Stored for many years. Exact age unknown.

BMW AND Mini have today unveiled pioneering new technologies that produce artificial G-force and even let an engine run on tea leaves. BMW has revealed plans for a system called Force Injection Booster (FIB), which when activated fires artificial gravity at the driver and passenger through the air conditioning vents. But the style-conscious needn’t worry, because the German firm has also patented AirNet, the world’s first in-car hair protection technology.

Mercedes digs at Jaguar for EATING its Chicken Just a few days ago we had a great video from Jaguar poking fun at Mercedes advert for Magic Body Control that featured chickens demonstrating how MBC worked. Jaguar’s response was to mimic Mercedes opening to the video but following it up with Jaguar’s big cat eating Mercedes chickens. It was a great response and we hoped it would signal a nice bit of back and forth between the Germans and the British as they each tried to outdo the other.

After months of waiting, the Interior Motives Student Designer of the Year 2011 has finally been announced. At a glamorous awards ceremony at Frankfurt's Cocoon Club earlier this evening, the world's top designers and automotive journalists gathered together to watch Felix Godard from Strate Collège in France sweep to victory at the Interior Motives Awards, securing himself a total prize of $5,500 and one the most prestigious accolades in the world of automotive design. Launched earlier this year and themed ‘Back to Basics – Making Cars for People, Not Markets', this year's contest attracted entries from an incredibly diverse range of schools and nations, including Israel, the Czech Republic, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and China.
