(1) NEW JEEPSTER COMMANDO DASH SWITCH PANEL OVERLAY DECAL FOR 1966-1973 JEEPS, BLEMISHED DECAL. THIS OVERLAY IS MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR THE JEEPSTER / COMMANDO SWITCH PANEL. After pictures are shown below.

This listing is for a blemished decal. During the printing process, a few have very slight marks. I am selling these for half price compared to the normal decal. The marks are very small (less than a 1/16" spot) and usually only visible up close (please see sample pictures and zoom in to see the detail).

This overlay is intended to install over the illegible or missing switch wording that is found on the Jeepster/Commando dash mounted switch panel. The switch panel is located on the left hand side of the steering column.

The overlay can be installed with the switch panel still in the dash. This is made of a high-quality vinyl material that should last many years if installed properly. The decal is black with white wording and the removable backing is blue.

Includes:

(1) New Jeepster / Commando Overlay Decal

(1) Instructions for Installation of Overlay Decal

NOTE: IF YOUR JEEPSTER HAS A DIFFERENT SWITCH CONFIGURATION PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I ALSO SELL AN OVERLAY WITH A WHITE BACKGROUND & AN OVERLAY FOR AFTERMARKET MODIFIED SWITCHES.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY A 2ND OVERLAY AT A DISCOUNT PLEASE EMAIL ME BEFORE YOU PAY.

Note: Actual application or fit may require slight modification or trimming of overlay to fit all switches. I cannot guarantee this will fit all years 1966-1973. Auction is for decal and instructions only, switch panel and Jeepster are not included. Sorry, I cannot provide a guarantee on length or condition that this decal will remain fixed to the switch panel (environmental conditions and installation leave too many variables).

Only 20 campers will be in Dearborn, Mich., this weekend, but don't worry. You can still get in on the action.

Land Rover reaches coldest inhabited place on Earth

Wed, 22 Jan 2014

Despite the second snowpocalypse of the year and the reappearance of the polar vortex, the American Midwest and Northeast are not the coldest places in the world right now, contrary to what you might have felt this morning during your commute. So the Petsmart parking lot in Schenectady, New York is going to have have to have to get a few degrees colder if it wants to make it in the Guinness Book of Records. The title holder of the coldest inhabited place in the world happens to be the district of Oymyakon in Russia, though it's a bit further south from the Arctic Ocean than you'd expect.

Drivers say no to more diesel costs

Mon, 15 Sep 2014

THREE QUARTERS of drivers in the UK say there should be no more additional costs for those driving a diesel car. Under proposals for Ultra Low Emissions Zones (ULEZ), diesel car drivers would be charged more to drive in towns and cities across the UK. With the possibility of ULEZs becoming widespread by 2020, 75.4% of drivers in the UK say they object to this plan and are not prepared to pay more to use their car.
