The cover is rather clean and somewhat shiny, but worn and faded, and lumpy and wavy from water damage. A former owner's stamp is found at the top right corner of the front cover, and this has been covered by a small piece of self-adhesive postage label for aesthetics. The cover remains well attached by mostly shiny staples. The entire book is a bit lumpy or clumpy from exposure to moisture. Pencil cyphering or marks were found on the Weight and Balance table on page 3-4 and the graph on page 3-5 and on page 5-4, and these have been removed by soft eraser, faint artifacts may be visible. There is a single pen dot in the Weight and Balance envelope on page 3-6, and a wee bit of cyphering on page 5-3 . There is patina throughout as you might expect of a manual of this vintage. All shown in the photos. Please see the full description and the photos.” Read Less Aircraft Type:150F Make:Cessna Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

New Skoda Octavia vRS hatch & estate revealed

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The 2013 Skoda Octavia vRS has been revealed (vRS hatch pictured) The Skoda Octavia vRS – the latest version of Skoda’s quick and appealing take on the VW Golf GTI – has been unveiled ahead of its debut at the Goodwood FoS in July, and it looks a cracker. Available as either a hatchback or estate – and as a diesel or a petrol – the Octavia vRS manages to repackage the Golf GTI and Golf GTD in to one Skoda, offering good performance (the vRS is a bit slower than the GTI to 62mph at 6.8 seconds but has a 2mph higher top speed), good looks and the promise of prices starting not much above £20k. The petrol vRS gets the Golf GTI’s 217bhp 2.0 litre TSI and the diesel vRS the 181bhp 2.0 litre TFI from the Golf GTD, both with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard and a six-speed DSG as option, sports suspension, XDS differential, quicker steering and multi-link rear suspension.

Driven: Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

The C-segment is one of the most important sectors of the automotive market, with every mainstream manufacturer having at least one car competing within. From Alfa Romeo's Giulietta through to the Lexus CT200h and Volvo's C30, there really is a car for everyone. So, in a potentially saturated marketplace, what can a Chevrolet hatchback offer above and beyond a nostalgic name and a tenuous link to an American heritage?

Chevrolet Orlando MPV Paris debut

Thu, 26 Aug 2010

The Chevrolet Orlando MPV (left) seems a bit bland after the concept (right) Chevrolet first penned the idea of the Chevrolet Orlando with a concept in 2008 (which you can see on the right in the picture above). That has now turned in to the production Orlando which will debut at the Paris Motor Show in October, but it does seem to have lost something in the process of going from concept to production. Quelle surprise (well, it is the Paris Motor Show).
