This Big Block Intake is in excellent condition. It does need to be refinished to look nos. All thread are good condition and not stripped. None of the bolt holes have been repaired or welded around the edges. The only flaw I see in the intake is located by the firing order. It appears to have been welded at some point, possible vacuum fitting at some point, see photo D. With just a little more work could be made to look awesome. VW to buy Italdesign Giugiaro, sources say
Wed, 19 May 2010Volkswagen AG will buy a controlling stake in Italy's largest design and engineering firm, Italdesign Giugiaro S.p.A., two industry sources confirmed to Automotive News Europe. One of the sources said that an announcement could come as early as next week. Italdesign and VW representatives declined to comment.
