BEAUTIFULL UNRESTORED ORIGINAL NUMBERED ALTERNATOR For a 1966 Corvette DATE CODE 6A20 (JANUARY 20th 1966) We have been in the automotive electricial busness since 1981, most of our business is now restoring vintage starters, alternators, generators, regulators, solenoids, starters drives for cars/trucks, tractors, motorcycles and boats. We decided not to restore this alternator because it is still 100% original and still has the original ink stampings on the back housing. Once the alternator housings are media blasted they no longer maintain their stock appearance. This alternator has its dated coded front and also rear housing. We have taken a lot of pictures showing the complete original parts of this alternator. It has its very clear stamped front numbered housing with original finish, that's hard to find. It has its original one piece fan with its correct number stamping on it 3843342AJ, also still has it original paint on it It has its original rear bearing with original numbers on it MNJ-471-S NDH It has it original rear capacitor with original numbers stamped in it of 1959455 D-R 5MF It still has its rear ink stampings on the diodes with stampings of 380 5M29 466 that's December 29th 1965 It still has it original stator which has its Carmel color varnish on it windings It has its 4 original correct thur bolts with stampings on each bolt. It has it original battery stud with the original insulator and original negative stud with correct washer and nut The alternator spins freely and we load tested it and it works just like new. It you who have a restored Corvette you may want a restored alternator, but if you have a rare unrestored Corvette than this is a perfect alternator for your Corvette because it super nice but all original N.O.S alternators are almost no longer available, but this alternator is pretty close to it.. Mon, 09 May 2011Here's a sweet deal: Help find a black 1962 Chevrolet Corvette stolen from celebrity pastry chef Duff Goldman, and he'll give you a lifetime supply of birthday cakes. Goldman, star of Ace of Cakes on the Food Network, says the Vette was boosted from his brother's driveway in Sherman Oaks, Calif., last week while he was out of town for work. "I'm pretty sure I'll never get my car back," Goldman told the Los Angeles Times, "so I hope whoever has it loves it as much as I do, drives it as fast as I did and plays the radio as loud as I did.
Electric Ford Focus to guest on Leno show
