When it comes to 1966 Chevrolet ignitions and their problems, this 48 page booklet is the one you’ll want to turn to. It has loads of info and highly detailed and easy to follow schematics not found in Assembly Manuals or other GM publications. It names the problem, and then gives you the test route to solve it. From VOLTAGE REGULATORS, to IDICATOR LIGHTS that don’t work or don’t want to stop working to ALTERNATOR ISSUES. Most other manuals don’t do this. WHY? Because this book went directly to the service and mechanics at the Chevy Dealerships.

Dated JANUARY 1966, this booklet was primarily intended for the Chevrolet Training Programs at all GM Training Facilities. This one came from their South Jersey School in Moorestown, NJ. They only went to GM Dealers or the GM Instructional Schools.

The flawless original has been sitting with other publications in a large legal envelope from GENERAL MOTORS, Flint, Michigan addressed to the school where the previous instructor taught from the late 50’s till it closed in late 90’s. This and many other were kept in old GM envelopes he collected. This is a professional reprint. This one even has the instructor’s own hand-written notes about certain topics.
