1966 Ford Elecrical Assembly Manual Falcon Fairlane Ranchero Futura Factory

"1966 Fairlane - Falcon - Comet - Ranchero Electrical Assembly Manual" This reprinted manual shows you detailed illustrations of your car's electrical system and power accessories. In addition to conventional linear wiring diagrams, this book gives you dimensional diagrams of the wire routing with pictures of the looms so that you can see exactly where the wires are situated in the car, where clips & connectors go, and what they look like. Includes color codes for wires. You will also find exploded views of electrical parts with original part numbers. You can therefore use this manual to help identify parts that may be missing or incorrect. It includes extensive exploded view illustrations of standard and optional lamps, and dash-mounted instruments and controls. Since this manual was used on the Ford assembly line to help workers install power accessories, it gives detailed illustrations and some instructions for installing intermittent windshield wipers, power seats, power windows, cigar lighter, clock, radio & antenna, heater, air conditioner, defroster, and more. There are exploded views and illustrations on just about every one of the book's 172 pages. This manual covers 1966 Fairlane, 500, 500 XL, Falcon, Futura, Ranchero, Comet, Capri, Caliente, Cyclone, and Wagon, and Ranchero. New condition, measures 13 ½" x 8 ¼" approximately. Go on and tear that car apart! This book will help you put it back together.

Road Kill

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

CAR OWNERS have raised a stink after driving on a road littered with meat in upstate New York. Dozens of chunks of meat were discovered on the road in front of a shopping centre in Queensbury, about 60 miles north of Albany, the Post-Star of Glens Falls reported. Police believe the meat fell off a truck that might have been heading from a farm or slaughterhouse to a rendering plant, but no one has come forward to claim it.

One Lap of the Web: Classic Mustang road trip, V4 engines and the flaming Viper

It's a Corvettes summer at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion

Sun, 18 Aug 2013

You couldn't swing a camshaft without hitting a Corvette at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Chevy was celebrating, in no particular order: the 60th anniversary of its iconic sports car; the rolling unveiling of the new C7 Stingray; the first-ever public peek at the C7R race car; an almost-unprecedented gathering of great Corvette race cars from all eras; and a ginormous gathering of the Corvette faithful tearing around the track in all models of screaming, roaring American muscleVettes, few with silenced exhausts and many emblazoned with all or part of the American flag. Is this a great country or what?
