1966 Ford Galaxie 500xl Convertable Taillight Assemblies, 7 Liter on 2040-parts.com
Adams, Tennessee, United States
Here are the 2 taillight assemblies that I removed from my 66 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible. The light assemblies are in good condition with some slight small pitting around the inside of the exterior chrome bezel. The pictures may not show the very small pitting, there not bad. These lights, because of the XL model, do have the back-up lights. Everything looks good with no damage with the exception of one pin missing on the top of one of the light assemblies. If you have any questions please drop me a line and I will try to get you an answer. I will be listing several other items from the 66 Galaxie Convertible. |

Lincoln MKT concept
Mon, 14 Jan 2008By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 14 January 2008 17:27 Ford’s Geordie design boss, Peter Horbury is working hard to return long-neglected Lincoln from a brand driven by old ladies with poodles to the kind of luxury car presidents might ride (or get assassinated) in. The T in MKT stands for Touring, and he says: ‘When I think of touring, I imagine long journeys in extreme comfort.’ So passengers sit in seats inspired by the first-class cabin of an aircraft, surrounded by fine wood, leather and silk. It’s guilt-free luxury, though.
Fireworks man cleared over M5 crash
Tue, 10 Dec 2013A FIREWORKS CONTRACTOR in charge of a display held on the night of a massive motorway crash in which seven people died and 51 were injured has been cleared of breaching health and safety laws. A judge directed a jury at Bristol Crown Court to find Geoffrey Counsell, 51, not guilty of a single charge of failing to ensure the safety of others contrary to the Health and Safety at Work Act. The charge alleged that Mr Counsell, of Ashill in Somerset, failed to ensure he operated the firework display so as to ensure, as far as was reasonably practicable, that others who might be affected were not exposed to risks to their health and safety.
