1966 Ford Thunderbird Left Front Valance Panel 66 Tbird 390 Lower Valance on 2040-parts.com
Altamont, Illinois, US
The item offered in this auction is a used condition left front, lower valance panel removed from a 1966 Ford Thunderbird. This part was removed from a non-wrecked car. This part has been painted with brown primer, and I do not know what is under the primer. Around the small rectangular opening, for the bumper brace, the metal appears slightly tweaked and there are signs of body filler. The tab for the brace (from this valance to the frame) is bent slightly upward. I am not a body man, but I believe this piece is plenty fixable and still decent for it's age. The metal edges, particularly where a mounting bolt hole is, has a few tweaks around the bolt holes, but nothing a pair of pliers couldn't make right. The back side of this panel has road tar on it. Overall, a decent part. While these parts were removed from a '66 Thunderbird, it is likely that Ford used them on other years as well.
