2014 Nissan Pathfinder pricing announced

Nissan has just announced pricing for the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, which appeared last year as an all-new model for 2013. In addition to a Pathfinder hybrid, the lineup grows by a few trim options with the two-wheel drive Pathfinder S now starting at $29,545 and the four-wheel drive Pathfinder S starting at $31,145. CCTV ban will 'put pupils at risk'

GOVERNMENT PLANS to possibly ban CCTV parking cameras will put schoolchildren at risk, council leaders and head teachers have warned. Councils use CCTV enforcement vehicles to tackle dangerous and illegal parking outside schools including cars blocking driveways, driving along pavements and stopping on yellow zig-zag lines outside school gates. They are often introduced at the request of parents or teachers concerned about the safety of schoolchildren and act as a visible deterrent to the thoughtless minority of drivers who put children's safety at risk.

CCS students tackle GM project

Seniors studying Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, Michigan, have recently completed a project with General Motors that has been underway since late 2009. General Motors challenged the students to design an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) that focused on the brand identity of Buick, Cadillac or Chevrolet, utilized the EREV components, and optimized aerodynamic attributes. Design features that incorporated sustainability materials and efficiency were also considered important components of the design development.
