This a "just drop 'em in" set of complete convertible front buckets and both upper and lower rear seat sections with correct 1966 mustang red covers. I believe that these also fit 1964.5 through 1968 Mustangs,not absolutely sure? Upholstery was installed about 4 years ago and stored inside after that action and never mounted in a car for any adjustments. As you can see all frames and springs are excellent and not rusted away. Nice bucket seat sliding rails/tracks underneath are in nice shape too. As any mustang person knows that my higher price is due to the skins and their replacement labor,cleanliness and the desirable rear seat sections,unique to cv'ts and harder to find in this near rustfree condition.
As far as shipping goes,I,d like to have these seats picked up here locally near Youngstown Ohio. I will work with a buyer on that issue. Shipping such large items with new upholstery seems risky to say the least. I am willing to hold the seats for 30 days after payment to help an out of town buyer wait to pick them up. I'm liquidating an entire 20 year collection of 1965-1968 original,some NOS parts so I,ll be listing more hopefully to get down to a handful! PLEASE NOTE...I am located 3 hours NE of Columbus Ohio in case you're going to the regular Columbus Ohio Ford Fall Super Swap this Thanksgiving weekend if you'd like to stop by and see the seats or pick them up. The 508 retains many of the design themes of the concept: a more restrained grille outline, diving headlamp graphic and embossed lion emblem surface convey a similar DRG. The sedan's three-light DLO is also intact as is the trunk lid's unusually high-set trim highlight, although the taillamps have lost their body color inserts.
Toyota Prius recalled for water-pump fix
Tue, 30 Nov 2010Toyota is recalling about 650,000 units of the Prius hybrid for a problem with the coolant pump that could cause the engine to overheat. The recall covers 2004 to 2007 models of the Prius. More than half of the vehicles being recalled, 378,000, were sold in the United States.
Mercedes-Benz OKs the CLS wagon
Wed, 06 Jan 2010Mercedes-Benz will launch a wagon version of the second-generation CLS sedan as a rival to the recently introduced BMW 5-series GT and the upcoming Audi A7. The new four-door--presaged by the German carmaker's 2008 Concept Fascination two-door shooting brake revealed at that year's Paris motor show--is among a throng of niche-market models under consideration by Mercedes boss Dieter Zetsche. "We're seeking to improve our returns by better utilization of existing platforms," a high-ranking Mercedes source told AutoWeek.
