These TMI headrests will fit any 1965, 1966 or 1967 Mustang with either the STANDARD INTERIOR or the PONY INTERIOR. The DARK BLUE color is the correct DARK BLUE for the 1965 Mustangs.  1966 and 1967 Mustangs did not have DARK BLUE upholstery from the factory. Mounting hardware and installation instructions are included. I have included pictures of the installation instructions with this listing.

Headrests were not mandatory on cars in 1965, 1966, or 1967. We all know today that they are an important safety upgrade to help protect against whiplash in the event of a rear end collision. If you drive your pony regularly or seasonally you might want to consider protecting yourself and your front seat passenger by adding these headrests.

The Machimoto might look and sound like a Japanese concept, but it was developed in Europe in the Turin-based Italdesign studio, and was based on a Volkswagen Golf GTI platform. The name actually derives from MACHIna (car in Italian) and MOTOciclo (motorcycle) as the perfect hybrid between the worlds of two- and four-wheelers. Unveiled on its home turf at the Turin motor show in 1986, it landed like a UFO, shocking both the public and the press.
