This is a pair of original Ford OUTER brackets that support the front bumper on 1967 and 1968 Cougars.  These came off of a California car a number of years ago, had some slight surface rust, so I sand blasted them and primed them with rust-resistant primer.  They should now be painted semi-gloss black and will be ready to install. The right (passenger side) bracket is perfect.  The left bracket shows just a very small bend in the rod portion about 5 inches from the outer end.   (See overall and close-up photos to see this is minor.)  I did not attempt to straighten this part because I believe it is usable as is -- and straightening would likely be better while in the process of installing the front bumper.  Please ask questions if you need more information.  Note that I also have a pair of the two inner front bumper support brackets on another listing.

Jaguar ads 'too focussed on speed'

ADVERTS for Jaguar have been banned for focusing on the cars' speed and encouraging dangerous driving. The four video ads on Jaguar's website showed a car driving at speed through a tunnel and crossing over the single white lines in the middle of a road, before driving across a mountain road at night. Another scene showed a car driving on open land at high speed, while voice-overs said: "The adaptive dynamics technology reacts 20 times faster than the human eye.

The Renault Clio Gordini 200 Renault are moving on with their Gordini offerings, this time the Clio with the announcement that the Renaulsport Clio 200 gets the Gordini treatment – Blue with white stripes – and a near £2,000 price premium. Apart from the requisite paint job Renault has added gloss black to parts of the bumpers, shoved a set of white mirrors on and added some bespoke, 17″ alloys. But in fact you don’t ahve to stick to the Gordini Blue colour scheme – you can opt for Black or White instead.
