DESCRIPTION:  THIS COMPLETE 3-SPEED HEAVY-DUTY MX TRANSMISSION WAS SHIFTING FINE WHEN I LAST DROVE MY CREAMPUFF '67 FORD F-250 PICKUP TRUCK WITH IT IN EARLY '97 (I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FROM A DEALER, AFTER HE PURCHASED IT FROM THE ELDERLY ORIGINAL OWNER, WHO ALWAYS TOOK IMMACULATE CARE OF IT).  3 YRS (OF STORING THE TRUCK) AFTER THAT, I NOTICED A SUBTLE KNOCK IN THE ENGINE AFTER RE-GASKETING.  TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I REBUILT THE ENGINE TWICE, THE 2ND TIME WITHOUT RE-INSTALLING IT (OR THE TRANNY) IN THE TRUCK.  I SOLD THE TRUCK WITH ANOTHER CRATED REBUILT MX TRANSMISSION, LEAVING ME WITH THIS EXTRA ORIG. '67 TRANNY.  IT STILL HAS THE TRANS MOUNT IN DECENT SHAPE, AND THE PAN HAS NO APPARENT DINGS OR DENTS IN IT (IN EXCELLENT SHAPE).  THIS MX TRANS WAS INSTALLED IN THE F-SERIES PICKUP WITH THE 352-2V 5.8L ENGINE FOR 3 YEARS ONLY ('65, '66, AND '67), AND IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE LATER EDITION FMX TRANNY.  THIS ITEM IS FOR PICKUP ONLY IN SAN DIEGO CENTRAL AREA (no pun intended).  THIS IS A VERY REASONABLE ASKING PRICE FOR SOMETHING OWNED AND STORED FOR SO LONG (ALMOST 20 YRS)...

NOTE:  SHIPPING NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE.  IF THE BUYER WISHES TO HAVE THIS SHIPPED, I WILL COORDINATE IT.  ITEM MUST BE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE.  I WON'T PACK THIS TRANSMISSION IN A BOX, BUT I WILL SHRINK-WRAP IT THOROUGHLY OVER STYROFOAM CUSHIONING ROLL FOR A NOMINAL $25 FEE, INCLUDING ASSISTING IN HAVING IT PICKED UP FOR TRANSPORT.

LAYAWAY OPTION & PAYMENT TERMS:  YOU MUST MAKE A PAYMENT FOR THIS ITEM (at least 50% down) WITHIN 48 HOURS.  I WILL ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS (90 days, if pre-arranged) FOR THE BALANCE DUE TO BE PAID.  Thank you for your cooperation...

FEEDBACK:  MY REWARD IS THE SATISFACTION OF HAPPY BUYERS, AND MY GOAL IS TO ACHIEVE 5 STAR RATINGS.  THERE IS NO RATING FOR HOW WELL A BOX IS PACKED (CUSHIONED), AND THAT IS WHERE I EXCEL. IF THERE IS ANY DELAY IN SHPMT, PLEASE CONSIDER HOW WELL I PACKED THE ITEM(S), AND THE HOURS I’VE SPENT.  I’VE BEEN KNOWN TO DOUBLE-BOX, USE DOUBLE-WALL BOXES, & WRAP THINGS 3 DIFFERENT WAYS.  IN 34 YRS OF SHPG (OF EVERY VEHICLE PART AND/OR SHEET METAL/FRAME/BODY SECTION IMAGINABLE, AND WITH EVERY AIR OR GROUND CARRIER & TRUCKING FIRM YOU’VE EVER HEARD OF), I’VE RARELY EVER HAD A DAMAGED SHPMT!  I KINDLY & HUMBLY ASK THAT YOU LEAVE A RATING OF *****, IF YOU DO LEAVE A RATING.

FYI:  IN 2011, I DONATED ALMOST HALF OF MY YEAR’S EBAY SALES RECEIPTS TO THE JAPAN EARTHQUAKE & TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND…
