The luxury sports coupe concept, designed at the carmaker's Namyang Research and Development Center in South Korea, is its ninth concept model and is expected to preview the next Genesis coupe. The HND-9 fastback is 4,695mm long, 1,890mm wide, 1,340mm high and sits on a wheelbase of 2,860mm.
Toyota recalls the Lexus GX 460 SUV to upgrade stability software
Mon, 19 Apr 2010Toyota on Monday said it is recalling about 9,400 copies of the 2010 Lexus GX 460 to update the stability-control software--just one week after Consumer Reports magazine warned that the vehicle was prone to oversteer in turns and urged its subscribers not to buy the vehicle. It's the latest in a series of gaffes that have damaged Toyota's reputation for high quality and led the automaker to recall millions of vehicles to fix problems such as sticking gas pedals. Police Tape app can document traffic stops
Thu, 05 Jul 2012In a video that looks like something cooked up by elementary-school students, the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey touts its new, free smartphone app called Police Tape. The application allows users to review their rights on the spot and to record both video and audio when stopped by police. Once recorded, files can automatically be uploaded to external servers, where they are retained and examined by the ACLU for possible civil liberties violations.
