For sale is a 1967-1970 Ford underdash A/c Vacuum switch. This switch allowed a vacuum actuator to open and let cool air go through the heater box. This was used on different models including, Mustang, Thunderbird, ranchero and cougar. This piece is in amazing working shape and still has the original plastic nipples and original cadmium plating.

GM closes UK Advanced Design Studio
Tue, 09 Aug 2011CDN has learnt that General Motors is closing its UK Advanced Design Studio as part of its ongoing restructuring program. Clay Dean, GM's executive director of advanced global design and Cadillac's brand director, arrived at the studio on 4 August to announce the closure to staff. The UK studio, which opened in 1999, was predominantly involved in the creation of Cadillac concept cars and was originally planned to be a short-term confidential operation as the smallest of GM's design studios.

A Spanish website claims to have stumbled across the technical design sketches at a European patent office and – if authentic – they spill the beans on the new plug-in hybrid electric concept car that’s bound for a showroom near you within two years. The Ampera is Opel/Vauxhall’s version of the Chevrolet Volt, the breakthrough car that could just save GM if it survives its current crisis.
