Please read all before you bid and understand why some
items are noted as “FREIGHT”. Selling on E-Bay is not free! I have to pay a listing fee then I have to pay E-bay a commission based upon the final sale price of that item and the shipping cost at 10%. I lose money every time on the shipping as I charge exact cost! Then Pay Pal charges me a fee of 3% to get collect the money from the buyers. E-bay wants sellers to ship items for free. If I where selling greeting cards I would do that. However I am selling heavy auto parts and cannot absorb those shipping costs. My parts are listed at a very fair start price and there are no shenanigans like others do. They will go for what they go for regardless. That is a TRUE auction. I usually do not pre-box my items as I find buyers buy more than one item. Also the E-Bay shipping calculator is not accurate and more of an estimator and can not make accurate quotes for insurance beyond the starting price of an item. I mainly use Fed Ex ground to ship items as Fed Ex is far more cost effective over UPS and the Post Office on larger items and shipping insurance is free up to $100.00. Over $100.00 Fed Ex does charge a fee but that fee is way less than the Post Office. Fed Ex offers a superior tracking system which follows package at every step of the way. The Post office tracking system does not. I will use the Post Office flat rate priority boxes when possible or for lighter small low value items. I do not inflate shipping costs or charge any handling fees. You pay actual costs. Bear in mind there are variances in weight scales but I try very hard to get the shipping weight as correct as possible. Free shipping is for continental US sales only when listed as such. Please review my feedback and bid with confidence. PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE CHECK OUT AT AUCTION END OR PAY FOR ITEM UNTILL I SEND INVOICE WITH SHIPPING CHARGES THROUGH E-BAY SYSTEM. I will send you a notice after the sale on items noted as freight with the shipping cost. Do not pay before invoice is sent. Again there is no inflation and no extra charges for packing and handling of your parts. I try to ship parts as
quickly as possible sometimes the same day or next day. I will list tracking
numbers in E-Bay from Fed Ex once shipped out. Thanks. This is not for the average guy but for the guy who likes and wants and appreciates unique parts and something not many could have, obtain or possibly afford. This is a custom one off pure grade 5 billet titanium hood lock pin and spring cup. C.N.C. machined. It is a exact copy of the original GM parts. Pin is threaded 1/2-20 just like original includes a titanium jamb nut. You can use your existing spring or get the stainless steel replacement that would compliment this nicely. I had 4 sets made and one set is for my car one set sold so only 2 people will be able to get a set. There are no more and I will not have any more made. My start price for one set is only the actual machining cost and does not include the cost of the titanium material to make them which was $200.00. The parts are very light and super strong and will never rust or corrode. They are way lighter than the stainless versions made by Detroit Speed which are around $65.00. These titanium parts are pure automotive jewelry. |

New BMW 3-series bows, performance-oriented 335iS joins the lineup
Mon, 18 Jan 2010A new performance-oriented 335iS model endowed with an M-sport styling kit and unique chassis settings heads the list of changes BMW brings to its facelifted 2011 3-series coupe and convertible. Set to slot into the lineup between an upgraded 335i and the M3 when it goes on sale in March as an exclusive for North America, the 335iS runs a tuned version of BMW's N54 engine, as found in the recently unveiled Z4 sDrive35iS, coupled to either a standard six-speed manual or an optional Getrag-engineered seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine of the 335iS adds a special software package to bump power to 326 hp and lift torque to 332 lb-ft--or to an even gutsier 369 lb-ft for short periods via an overboost function that unleashes added turbocharger boost pressure.
Koenigsegg Agera R claims world speed records
Sat, 03 Sep 2011Koenigsegg Agera R claims world speed records We are constantly amazed at what the three men in a shed in the snow in Sweden that are Koenigsegg Automotive AB can achieve. All the way from the first Koenigsegg, the CC8S, to the very latest, the Koenigsegg Agera we got up close and personal with at Goodwood this year, and it’s bonkers big brother – the Koenigsegg Agera R. From the CC8S to the Agera R, Christian von Koenigsegg has always trod his own, very particular, path to supercar performance.
