I recently bought out the contents of a brake repair shop that has been closed for years. Most of the drums I will be listing are either NOS or have been turned at one point in time and stored on shelves. This is a once turned front brake drum. The part number marked on it is X-30666. AA celebrates 40 years of 'get you home'
Mon, 21 Oct 2013THIS MONTH the Automobile Association is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Recovery service - originally called AA Relay - that promised to get you home or to your destination. Back in 1973 there were very limited options if your broken-down car could not be fixed at the side of the road. The AA patrol could only tow you to your local garage to have it fixed or you would have to carry on your journey without the car.
Ford recalls Fusion and Milan sedans for wheel-stud problems
Fri, 09 Dec 2011Ford is recalling 128,616 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans for faulty wheel lugs. The recall affects cars from the 2010 and 2011 model years that have steel wheels. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says vibration in the studs can cause them to crack or break, possibly resulting in the wheel falling off.
