THIS IS A NEW 6 PIECE BODY KIT FROM K.A.R. AUTO GROUP FOR 1967 OR 1968 MUSTANG FASTBACKS. IT IS OF THE SAME HIGH QUALITY YOU HAVE COME TO EXPECT FROM K.A.R. AUTO GROUP'S FIBERGLASS PARTS. THE PARTS IN THIS KIT ARE 100% HAND LAID FIBERGLASS. WE DO NOT USE METAL FRAMING AS IT ADDS WEIGHT,  SIGNIFICANT COST, AND HAS PROVEN TO BE UNNECESSARY. WE HAVE SOLD HUNDREDS OF OUR 100% FIBERGLASS PARTS WITH NO ISSUES. SCROLL THROUGH OUR EBAY FEED BACK TO READ THE COMMENTS OF DOZENS OF SATISFIED CUSTOMERS.

This kit consists of a 3 inch cowl hood, a trunk lid with quarter panel end caps, and Eleanor style side scoops. The hood is the short style identical in dimensional size to an original metal Ford hood. If an original Ford hood and trunk lid will fit your 1967 or 1968 Mustang then our fiberglass hood and trunk lid will also fit. They were molded using original Ford parts to form the mold dimensions. The side scoops do not have studs and must be molded to your car's quarter panels. The hood and trunk lid are metal reinforced at all mounting points and drilled and tapped to accept stock mounting hardware. They can be bolted on using all stock hardware. Since there are slight factory variances in quarter panel alignment the quarter end caps are shipped with the mounting studs but they are not affixed to the end caps. The installer must align the end caps to your trunk lid and then install the studs to insure perfect alignment. This is a simple body shop process. Some body shops install the end caps using modern adhesives and eliminate the use of the studs all together.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A FIBERGLASS RACING STYLE FRONT VALANCE ADDED TO YOUR KIT PURCHASE PLEASE EMAIL US SO THAT WE MAY ADD IT TO YOUR INVOICE. KIT PRICE WITH THE FRONT VALANCE ADDED IS $950.00.

FIBERGLASS KITS MUST BE SHIPPED BY TRUCK FREIGHT AS THEY ARE TOO LARGE FOR UPS OR FED EX GROUND SERVICE.TRUCK FREIGHT SHIPPING QUOTES ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. IT WILL ALWAYS BE APPROXIMATELY $50.00 LESS EXPENSIVE TO SHIP TRUCK FREIGHT TO A BUSINESS THAN TO A RESIDENCE.

PLEASE CONSIDER K.A.R. AUTO GROUP FOR ALL YOUR CLASSIC MUSTANG NEEDS. WE STOCK OVER 9000 HIGH QUALITY CLASSIC MUSTANG PARTS AND INSTALL THE PARTS WE SELL. WE KNOW THE PARTS THAT FIT AND STAND THE TEST OF TIME.

Ferrari say the fires on the 458 Italia are caused by the glue attaching a heat shield catching fire under high temperatures. Which sounds extremely odd, but that’s the explanation.
