Cast with 16-18% silicon HI-TECH HYPEREUTECTIC HIGH PERFORMANCE PISTONS are fully designed, tested, and certified by a QS-9000 & ISO-9001 OE manufacturer with 30 years experience in piston manufacture for the OE's and the performance racing market. Cast with 16-18% silicon alloy, hypereutectic pistons are T-6 hardened, suitable for even very high performance applications. Precision machined super high performance piston with original dome design for all 302 engines, stock compression ratio (11:1 with 64 cc heads). The new tooling was specifically made for our pistons and specific machining cams were produced to accurately machine the profile and taper. (Many manufacturers just have a few generic cams and they pick the closest one). Each alloy batch is independently tested and certified before casting and then hardened to specs under computer control. EXCLUSIVE computer designed under structure allows dome machining (0.143") to safely reduce the compression ratio to 10:1 and maintain balance. Free floating wrist pin and spirolock retainers included. Sorted in sets of eight by size and weight to balance and blueprint tolerances. {+/- .0004" & 1.5 grams or better}. Compare this warranty term to others! - two full years in street cars.

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

Jaguar F-Type Coupe – The Videos We had the Jaguar F-Type Coupe finally bow in at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month – including an F-Type R with 542bhp – and it does look to be the perfect Jaguar sports car. Yes, it may be a bit heavier than its aluminium underpinnings would lead you to reasonably expect, but it does look glorious – much better than the F-Type Roadster – and the F-Type R promises real performance too. When the F-Type was revealed we had plenty of photos (above) and a launch video, but what we didn’t have is any videos showing us the F-Type in detail.

2011 BMW 5-series: Bavaria's midsize sedan takes cues from bigger 7-series brother

Mon, 23 Nov 2009

BMW's appetite for controversial design may have waned since the heights of former design boss Chris Bangle's oft-derided flame surfacing stratagem. But it shows no sign of fading completely, as we see in the first official photographs of the new sixth-generation 5-series, which goes on sale in North America by mid-2010. Codenamed F10, BMW's midsize sedan is restyled and reengineered in a bid to keep it ahead of key rivals such as the recently renewed Mercedes-Benz E-class and the Audi A6.
