Here I have a Chevrolet pickup truck tailgate from the 1967 to 1972 generation, I'm not sure of what exact year, The piece obviously shows it's age due  to the wear and tear it adorns on it's body. Overall the piece is solid, but there are small holes in the metal and plenty of rust. There are many small holes on the lower back of the item, if  you wanna patch those up  you probably can with a miracle  or a really good fabricator friend. Someone who wants a tailgate for a ratrod or restoration project would probably be interested in this item. The handle on the tailgate is able to move, but the lock devices do nothing no matter how you try. I only have the tailgate and not the arms that allow you to move it up  and down. You don't have to use the tailgate as a part of your truck, if you want make it into a bench or a table, some sort of decoration, I've  seen it before.
What you see is what you get. :)

I listed the item as local pick up only, but I'm willing to deliver the item within about 50 miles.

After graduating from Art Center with a degree in transportation design, Townsend interned for Toyota but soon moved to Motorola, where he developed wearable Bluetooth technology and designed the familiar headsets worn by coaches in the NFL.

Senate committee sends auto-safety bill to the floor for vote

Thu, 10 Jun 2010

The Senate Commerce Committee voted today to pass a far-reaching vehicle safety bill that has largely won both automaker and consumer support, sending the measure to the full Senate. The bill passed without objections from any senators. The legislation, crafted in the wake of Toyota's safety recalls this year, resembles a House bill that also is now on the floor of that chamber.
