Trim for around tail lights on 1967-72 Chevy C10 & C20 Trucks. Pieces are clean & straight. Unsure if they are OEM or replicas. Chrome finish is good, no rust but not "show quality". Possibly another trip through the dip tanks would get them there. I am use to the polished luster of billet aluminum parts, which is tough to get to with the chroming process on thin stamped metal parts. What you see is what will be sent (no clips) Thanks for looking!

Mechanics qualifications gained using Haynes manuals

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

MOST MEN enjoy a good Haynes car manual, whether they really understand it or not, but a group of youngsters has used the workshop guides to achieve their first qualifications in car mechanics. The first wave of the Haynes Mechanix scheme has seen a mixed gender youth club group, aged 15-25 and from Islington in London, use Haynes manuals along with guidance from experienced mentors to fix real problems on a real car. The donor Volkswagen, known as Percy the Polo, was a theoretical MOT fail and needed replacement spark plugs, a brake fluid replacement and much more, to give the aspiring tinkerers a broad spectrum of challenges.

Google CEO Sergey Brin unveiled the company's new two-seat, driverless vehicle at the software conference, underlining the company's aim of drastically reducing road deaths and injuries caused by human error, particularly by distracted drivers. "We're now exploring what fully self-driving vehicles would look like by building some prototypes; they'll be designed to operate safely and autonomously without requiring human intervention," said Brin.

Fiat 500 gets Stop-Start

Fri, 06 Feb 2009

Flavour of the month, stop-start, and here’s another to add to the list. The Fiat 500 gets Start&Stop (I’ve lost count of the different monikers) as an option on the 1.2 Lounge, using Bosch technology to beef up the system to make it reliable. The Stop/Start also gets another Fiat moniker – Blue&Me – which gives the driver EcoDrive to aid emissions and adds hands-free phone and an entertainment system.
