At Dahmer Power we stock 6.5 million dollars worth of inventory and have annual sales of 20 million dollars. The reason we are selling this unit on eBay is because with this much inventory we need room for newer stock. These units are run on our SIM test machine with hot oil ran through them. So when we sell a product we know it will be in great condition.

Dahmer Powertrain, Inc. was founded in 1975. The president, Jerry Dahmer, owned and operated an automobile dealership from 1974 to 2002. Dahmer Chevrolet was opened in 1974 in Independence, MO. Not long after opening, the dealership had an opportunity to purchase a large volume of engines from a local farm machinery manufacturer. That inventory was ultimately purchased and subsequently sold in a timely manner. This was the beginning of this business which has operated under the following names;

Dahmer Chevrolet - 1975

Dahmer Sales Division - 1976-1987

Cable Dahmer Chevrolet- 1988-2002

In September of 2002, Cable Dahmer was sold to one of it's top managers. The engine division was separated and moved to a larger facility that better suited our needs and began operating under the current name; Dahmer Powertrain. We purchase powertrain products from large and small companies that have overstock in inventory, but don't have the connections nor the expertise to sell them on their own. As our business has grown, we have actively recruited employees with strong technical backgrounds and above average people skills. This has lead to an average growth of 20% per year for the last four years.

In the beginning, our customer base focused on bread companies. They had large fleets of vehicles and our products matched their needs.  We grew the business by selling quality products at competitive prices and developed a reputation for excellence in our field. Today our customer base is widely diverse. From the bread companies that were with us in the beginning to the worlds largest package delivery company, from family owned repair shops to the largest dealerships in the country, from fleet maintenance companies of all sizes to extended warranty providers, from companies with fleets numbering in the thousands of vehicles to the individual that needs to keep the family vehicle on the road, we specialize in meeting all of their powertrain needs.
