Very hard to find this early date coded Rochester carbuerator for a 1967 Camaro.  Nice and complete Carbuerator from a 350 automatic SS Camaro  that I owned.  It will need rebuilding as it has been sitting but except for some surface tarrnish on the top of the butterflys is rust free and operable.  Just been on the shelf for awhile.  It is an original date code of J6. .  Date of  "J6"is either September or October of 1966.  I think they skipped th "I" month as it looked too much like a number 1 (one). .   Please see photos.

Koenigsegg Agera & Agera R 2012 updates

Fri, 02 Mar 2012

The Agera & Agera R get a raft of tweaks for 2012 Koenigsegg has revealed improvements to the Agera and Agera R for 2012, which will debut at Geneva next week. We’re not sure just how many Koenigsegg Agera R models have actually been built and delivered (or the standard Agera R, for that matter), but however many it is it’s not more than a handful. Still, standing still means going backwards – whether you’ve built a single car or a million – so Christian von Koenigsegg and his men in the snow in a shed in Sweden have been busy putting the Agera and Agera R at the cutting edge for 2012 models.

And for the first time in over a decade, domestic automakers, led by GM, topped foreign brands in individual product segments surveyed by Strategic Vision, a California research and consulting firm.

Drayson Racing aiming for Electric car World Land Speed Record

Thu, 30 May 2013

The Drayson B12 69/EV – heading to RAF Elvington to break the EV land speed record. One of the best uses for electric car technology is to deliver copious amounts of instant torque for track cars – far more than an ICE engine manages – and Drayson Racing Technology is aiming to prove how much that electric power can help by taking its Drayson B12 69/EV to RAF Elvington on 25th June to attempt to break the land speed record for an EV. That record – 175mph – has stood since 1975 (which probably shows how little EV technology has really moved on in the last 40 years), but the low-drag version of the Drayson electric Le Mans prototype is aiming to break that down the 1.86 mile runway at Elvington.
