Color of gaskets may vary. Please choose your carburetor kit from the numbers that are stamped on the carburetor or the metal tag. Even the metal tag can be questionable as they can be swapped around. Even if you think you have the original carburetor it is best to confirm this with the numbers on the carburetor. We have had customers POSITVE it's the original only to get their kit and find out it doesn't fit. Their carburetor is actually a 1969 not a 1968... One year off can make a difference in the kit you need. Karl Benz filed a patent for a three-wheeled vehicle driven by a gasoline engine in Mannheim, Germany, on that day in 1886, the same year Gottlieb Daimler completed his motorized carriage in Cannstatt, Germany.

So Volvo – safety conscious as ever – decided to prove the point by taking the very good Volvo V40 off to the Snowdome indoor ski slope in Tamworth to see exactly what difference a set of winter tyres makes to the grip available in a regular, FWD, family Volvo. And the results should make every car owner go out and fit winter tyres.
