Tue, 23 Nov 2010The VW Passat CC BlueMotion Technology - with added economy Volkswagen is busy rolling out its BlueMotion Technology models (as opposed to the ultimate eco version in the range, which is simply ‘BlueMotion’) across its range, yielding some pretty impressive CO2 and fuel savings in the process. Now it’s the turn of the VW Scirocco and VW Passat CC to get the BlueMotion Technology tweaking and fettling to yield the right numbers to keep the taxman at bay. And, just as they have with other VW BlueTechnology models, VW has managed to tease and cajole some pretty impressive numbers from both the Scirocco and Passat CC.

Thu, 21 Aug 2014Saab 9-3 EV prototype revealed by NEVS When National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) bought what was left after the debacle of bankruptcy, the plan was to create a range of electric cars using the Saab brand. But that hasn’t gone to plan, even though the first electric Saab 9-3 Prototype has now been revealed. In fact, Saab under NEVS has also come close to bankruptcy recently as an unpaid supplier took court action (although NEVS say that little local difficulty has been solved) and NEVS had to resort to building ICE engined Saabs to keep a few bob coming in.
Dodge plans first-quarter ad blitz, including Super Bowl
Thu, 23 Dec 2010Dodge, moving to entice car shoppers as industry sales recover, plans a major marketing push early next year that will include advertising during the Super Bowl broadcast on Feb. 6, 2011. Dodge CEO Ralph Gilles notified dealers of the advertising plan in an e-mail Tuesday that urged them to order their allocations of 2011 vehicles.
