Up for your auction bids is this very good complete bumper jack assembly from a 1968 Dodge Dart.  I believe it to be correct for 1967-69 Dart or Valiant.  It comes with detachable hook part # of 2533424.  Includes the jacking mast, base, hook, and tire iron.

Featured 1967-69 Dart / Valiant bumper jack assembly has been stored away for some years.  It is all original finish still.  Has some surface rust  on most pieces, but would sand blast clean quite easily, ready for a nice new paint job.  Should look very nice then, with not too much bad pitting. I tried the jacking mechanism and found it to work fine up and down. The hook snaps into the spring on jack mast fine, and pulls out o.k. too.  The tire iron is in good shape and is not bent and has good undamaged internals in socket part, where lug nut slides into it. Base plate is very straight, with no damages where mast drops into it.

Don't miss this good complete jack assembly if yours is damaged, extremely rusted, incomplete, or perhaps missing altogether. Not an easy jack to find complete any more.  Please be sure this is the correct item for your car before bidding on it.  I do not believe this is the correct jack for 1967-69 Barracuda models, but think I may have one of those too if you need one; let me know and I can list it for you on ebay also. Thanks for stopping in to look and bid!

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Dodge will get a new compact sedan for the 2013 model year. The sedan, which replaces the Dodge Caliber, is crucial because it will be the first vehicle to showcase the full range of benefits from the Fiat-Chrysler alliance. The car will be built at Chrysler's Belvidere, Ill., plant on a Fiat platform that has been adapted to the U.S.

Concept Car of the Week: Fiat Scia (1993)

Fri, 17 May 2013

After a successful design competition between famous Italian design houses to rework the little Cinquecento, Fiat renewed the experience two years later by giving to nine of them – including Fiat's in-house studio – a new Fiat Punto as a base to let their creative juices flow. The results ranged from being simply forgettable (Zagato Monomille), ridiculously daft (Boneschi Doblone) or just plain ugly (Giannini Punto 4x4 TL), but one of the concepts stood out from the flock for being brilliantly bold. This was the Fiat Scia, presented to the public at the 1993 Turin Auto Show.

Car sales plunge, Bank of England cuts rates

Thu, 06 Nov 2008

New car sales plunge in October: Renault sales were down by more than half By Nigel Wonnacott Motor Industry 06 November 2008 12:30 Following the sixth monthly decline in new car sales this year (down 23% this month), economists have revised market forecasts downwards, while the Bank of England has cut interest rates by 1.5%. October’s 23% drop was the worst so far and trade body SMMT now fears sales could end the year at just 2.15 million cars. That’s 8% lower than the 2.34 million predicted to leave showrooms back in January and would be the worst market performance in more than a decade.
