Wed, 24 Jun 2009Toyota are to produce a Hybrid version of the Auris Toyota are planning on building – in the UK – a Hybrid version of the Toyota Auris. This will feature the same Hybrid platform as the Prius, which will give it a 98bhp petrol engine together with an 80bhp electric motor. Audi TT (2014) in detail: news, prices, specs
Fri, 08 Aug 2014By Ben Barry First Official Pictures 08 August 2014 10:39 Could the third-generation Audi TT finally be about to live up to the mini-me Porsche 911 billing that its looks have always promised but its dynamics never delivered? As tech development boss Oscar Da Silva Martins talks CAR round a cutaway of the car’s monocoque ahead of its launch in November, it seems a tantalising possibility. With a clever mixture of aluminium and steel, the new TT’s kerbweight is not only some 140kg shy of the iconic Mk1 of 1998 but also 50kg lighter than its steel-and-aluminium-based predecessor, despite extra equipment that boosts both safety and convenience.
Hamana, hamana, hamana SOLD!
Sat, 17 Jan 2009The first thing that hits you driving over the hundreds of miles of desert on the way to see the monster Scottsdale classic and collector car auctions every January is the HUGE number of motor homes scattered willy nilly all across the sand and rocks like dice. Every winter Arizona sprouts fields of Winnebegos and Hitchhiker IIs like big, rectangular wildflowers, only less pretty (Not counting the requisite lion and dolphin murals airbrushed on the backs, what are those about, anyway?). Can snowy winters in Saskatchewan really be that bad?
