1967 Buick Skylark GS floor shift steering column. Complete and in pretty decent condition. Very restorable.
No damage or rot. Has some rust and pitting. Mostly on engine compartment end. The column is out of a 1967
GS 400 that was a flood car. Car was from the Midwest so a fresh water flood. Column was never cleaned so it
may need rewiring. Otherwise looks okay. Bearing are not seized and shaft turns smoothly. The steering shaft
threads are good. Comes with a decent turn signal stalk and good steering box connecting flange. I believe this
will fit any 1966-1967 GM A-body car (Chevelle, Cutlass, GTO), but could not confirm that.

Used car sales return to pre-recession levels

Wed, 18 Sep 2013

USED CAR SALES reached 7.1 million units in 2012, on a par with pre-recession levels and a climb of 6.4%, according to a comprehensive market report. The 2013 BCA Report by British Car Auctions valued the used car market a £38.1 billion in 2012, putting it £5.8 billion ahead of the new car market over the same period. In particular sales of younger used cars (0-2 years) increased significantly, rising by 18.6% to 762,000 and reversing a three year trend of falling volumes in this age sector.

BMW ‘reveals’ new EfficientDynamics prototype

Wed, 08 Sep 2010

BMW has established a Web site called www.dontblogabouthis.com with the express purpose of revealing a prototype being used to test a new gasoline-electric driveline earmarked for a future sports car. It’s expected to be launched in 2012 as part of BMW’s EfficientDynamics program. Featuring two short videos and four photographs of a 6-series based prototype, the Web site provides no additional information about the prototype other than to suggest that the car in question is “more than a 6-series”and is “not in its final stage.” Close inspection reveals the matte black BMW mule has a new front end resembling that of the one-off EfficientDynamics concept revealed at last year’s Frankfurt motor show.

Renault Clio facelift for 2009

Thu, 05 Feb 2009

The facelifted Renault Clio for 2009 - Due to launch at the Geneva Motor Show in March As with most car makers, Renault is going for the ‘Family’ look, and has grafted a new nose on the Clio to make it look like its big brother, the Megane. So it gets a new front end with new headlights, slitty grill and an air intake at the bottom. Big play is being made of the Clio GT (which Renault says will give more people more Va Va Voom!), and these are the pictures we have here.
